LC:M

So the last few days we've had LCM (LONDON COLLECTIONS: MEN), running from Friday until Monday. I've spent hours on Youtube watching the shows and thought I'd share a few of my favourite collections.

1. TOPMAN DESIGN

I maybe bias, but the Topman Design collection was amazing. It's 1970 and Mick Jagger's wardrobe was chucked all over London. Bold tartan, skinny boiler suits and thrown in with some fuck-off sheepskins and crafted flared trousers, you couldn't ask for more. It's a completely different idea to Topman's "commercial" stores,  but shows why the brand and the best on the hughstreet. Commercial and premium all in one place. Will we see flares and boiler suits in stores? Probably not. But these rebel retro designers always find a way of creating new trends, I think we'll be seeing sheepskins & patch-work jackets everywhere this AW15.

2. BURBERRY

Vibrant, tailored and pure Burberry. I love how simple Burberry do things, classy, British and classic. I loved the The Carryall Bag, I think it's something that will take off in menswear. So throw out your man bags and watch this space.

So those where my favourite collections from the past 4 days. Everyone looked amazing and the envy in me is becoming overwhelming. My highlight of the whole weekend was... David Gandy. I've never been a huge fan or admirer but his outfits were spot on. Not sure whether he has stylists/teams, but whoever chose his outfits should win an award.
